I have worked with. Mike Wendt in the Human Resources department of Teradyne Connections Systems (now Ampbenol, TCS) for the past 5 ½ years and I have learned a tremendous amount from big. His depth and breadth of experience in HR has been a great source of information over the past several years, especially since ills has been my first HR role.

The employee relations aspect of Mike's experience has been particularly helpful to me. He is very skilled in mediation. I have found myself on more than one occasion shut in my office with two screaming employees, and have thought, “What would Mike do in this situation?” I have been able to use his teachings on active listening and conflict resolution in these situations. These have been some of the most challenging parts of my job because they are so charged with emotion, and you have to think fast. Mike's coaching in this area has been, invaluable.

Mike also has a way of giving feedback constructively so that you learn and cart improve hut you. do not feel, criticized. I suppose this is a great attribute of a coach, be it in a professional, educational, or sports environment.
